Role of Burnout In the Relationship Between Dimension of Abusive Supervision And Turnover Intention

The present study aims to investigate the role of burnout in the relationship between dimensions of abusive supervision and turnover intention. Questionnaires were filled by employees of textile industries in Karachi. In this study Structural Equation Models (SEM) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis were used as the statistical techniques. The results of the study revealed significant insights that all dimensions of abusive supervision significantly predict burnout and turnover intention in employees of textile industries. Findings supported the mediation model of burnout between dimensions of abusive supervision and turnover intention. Since, it is found that dimensions of abusive supervision and burnout are significant increases the turnover intention among employees it is recommended that managers of textile industries should not get involved in the abuse and maintain a respectful work environment at the workplace in order to reduce the burnout and turnover intention.
